We sale and consign horses that have been in training for at least a month of full training here in our program, to be able to give a wholesome assessment on what type of home the horse is best suited to. Tamara always ensures the horse and rider are the best match for each other.

Hosanna
Hosanna is a 2015, 15.2 hand bay warmblood mare. She loves eventing, jumping, trail rides, and learning new things. Hosanna has been competing beginner novice and is in the ribbons consistently for the last few years, has the scope to move up, and is schooling Novice. Very scopey and agile. Her lineage traces back to upper level jumpers such as Touch of Class and Abdullah. Just finished in top 10 at Waredaca 3Day Beginner Novice, no jumping penalties in either XC or SJ. Forward and flashy movement for a little horse. Not for a beginner (sensitivity might alarm a newer rider) but goes in loose snaffle all 3 phases. Can stop from seat easily. Selling due to personal reasons, through no fault of Hosanna! Whoever ends up with her will be very lucky.
She has front shoes, and requires no maintenance, is sound, no previous injuries. Would be perfect for someone looking for a fun, sporty horse in a smaller package, with foundation laid to go up a few more levels.

Sky
Sky is a 2019, 13.2 hand purebred grey Welsh Pony gelding. He has 3 quality gaits and is a bit of a push ride, but has his own engine and will maintain a cruise control for the rider! He has tons of show experience, has competed up to 2’6 show jumping and starter level eventing (always in top scores in dressage), and loves to play dress up for the kids. He is naturally balanced, powerful, and can handle bigger jumps without needing to go faster. Goes in a snaffle.
This would be an excellent mount for a pony jumper child looking to compete in Pony Finals. If I had a kid to ride him, he wouldn’t be for sale! He is in his prime and ready to take it to the next level. Also would be suitable for a pony clubber looking for a fun games mount. Sky has been ridden by a short professional rider his entire upbringing while also giving lessons to kids in a program. He’s safe, well rounded, and educated.

Rosie
Rosie is a 2013 mare, 14.0 hand quarter pony crossbreed. She is a ball of muscle, yet flexible like a gymnast. Rosie has been schooling Novice fences and competing beginner novice for the last few years with an 10/11yo rider. She has had professional rides and is educated, but very safe and definitely a push ride. Absolutely a confidence builder. Can have opinions but not dangerous or naughty, just requires a strong leg, can keep a rhythm herself once it’s set from the leg. Top placings in rated eventing shows, but would be happy to be in a pony club program or someone’s show jumper as well. One of those jump on bareback in the field types. Rosie had the sweetest personality, and game for whatever. She just completed Waredaca 3Day with no cross country penalties and just 1 silly rail in SJ. In dressage she gets low scores as well. Goes in a snaffle. She loads, ties, clips, stands, and also loves to play dress up. Lives out and fat on air. 2 shoes. No injuries or soundness issues and no maintenance.

Jerry – SOLD
Jerry is a 10 yo OTTB standing at 16.3, with those dreamy, floaty, and light gaits! He has experience in the hunter jumper show ring, some cross country experience, is a quick learner, and a willing partner. He is the school master type- very quiet, calm natured, and incredibly smart and safe.
Jerry trailers well, settles in to new environments easily, and has wonderful ground manners. Clips/ties/stands.
He is currently located in Leesburg at Beat the Odds Training, where he is turned out 24/7 with a small gelding herd, and is in regular work.

This wonderful gelding is looking for his person. Hold My Beer, aka Guinness is a 9 yo TB located in Warrenton, Va. He is suitable for a mature teenager or adult amateur with a trainer.
Guinness is a special horse with loads to offer, but he needs the right person to bring it out of him. He does dressage only at the moment, taking a mental hiatus from jumping after a windy show.
He has show experience in local hunter jumpers but mainly only in flat classes now.
Sound, healthy, recent clean back x rays available. Barefoot and lives out 24/7. His personality is wonderful and puppy dog like, and he has excellent manners.
