Sales

At Beat the Odds Training, we believe that the key to riding success starts with a more effective rider/horse pairing strategy.

We sale and consign horses that have been in training for at least a month of full training here in our program, to be able to give a wholesome assessment on what type of home the horse is best suited to. Tamara always ensures the horse and rider are the best match for each other.

Lulu

Lulu is an approximate 9 yo quarter pony mare. She was broke in 2017 at age 4 and had trail riding/training and was been despooked in many ways through natural horsemanship and flag/tarp work. Can’t get quieter than this this girl! She had time off to have some babies, and she is now back in work in dressage/flatwork and started over fences, and ready to start her next career. She is the ideal prospect for a kids pony club or games horse. She is a more whoa than go and easy going. Her price reflects her training. Barefoot, sound, and healthy! She is ready to find her perfect kiddo!

Asking $7000. Best home a priority!

Radagast

2018 OTTB standing at 16.1 hands. Fancy, compact and light on his feet. JC name Aperitivo. “Rad” came to us in August 2022 after spending 6 months having down time after the track. No previous injuries. Has been in professional training and used in lessons with intermediate/advanced teenagers/young adults. Not for beginner.

Super fun ride, has great power with natural lift in the front end. Has been in slow careful dressage training and lightly started over fences and out in cross country. Great mind. Can take for trail rides alone.

Sweet guy with fun personality. Good ground manners and loves grooming. Clips, bathes, loads.

Has performed well in local dressage and hunter/jumper shows, and enjoys working out in the fields. Rad is a forward ride, has spring in his step, and his compact build makes him naturally balanced on the aids. Has more “go” when asked to engage, and listens well to seat. Best suited to go in direction of eventing, jumpers, or dressage.

Priced in low fives.

Has been in professional training and is a pleasant, honest push ride with lovely self carriage.

Phoenix has attended schooling shows in dressage, show jumping/hunters, cross country, hunt paces, both with professional rider and students, and takes new things well in stride. He is ready to have a career with his one person. This horse is the one you can pull out of the field after not riding for weeks at a time, and he is the same steady guy.
